Bug/Glitch: Normandie Track

"I have a bit of a problem when I am playing NFS 5. On the Normandie Track about half way through it right past the town when driving on the hills with the turns. The one where you turn right and skid to the left going slightly upwards. My game suddenly locks up. Or if you make it past there it locks at the ramp alittle way past. But this doesn't happen everytime you race there only mainly when slidding on the track at the one turn while going about 120-150mph. I have tried everything. I have updated all sorts of drivers. Tried different settings for my video card. I am going nuts the wierd thing is it doesn't do it consistantly. If you haven't heard of this already you probably won't know a solution, but I have been a nfs fan since NFS:2 SE. And would really appreciate some help. Here are my system's settings: (from sysinfo.exe comes with Mechwarrior3). My e-mail is Whiplash2000a@netscape.com -Thanx in advance. The one false thing about this is I really have a 533-EB Coppermine from Intel."

Bug/Glitch : Porsche 928 GTS

"I dunno if this is a glitch or bug but in my 928 GTS, the tachometer and speedometer go backwards in the cockpit view, I don't know if this is just me or if its standard."

Reply by Sheer_XTC :
I went to go try this bug out, and my game died on me. I haven't gotten it back up and running yet, so I'm not sure if this is normal or not, if any of you guys out there want to try it out, report back to me, I'd appreciate it.

Bug/Glitch : Shwarztwald Track

"Hey! Whazzup?! I found a sweet glitch in Porche, in the track Shwarztwald (sp?). Anyway, the glitch is a ways, into the course, in that little town / village. When you come to the village (going forwards on the track) on the left there are house\buildings with spaces between them. When you pass a slightly larger building, that kinda sticks out more on the street, there will be a space right after, then another space. The SECOND one is the one where, if you drive into it (with any car, settings, etc.) and turn into the walls of the houses, you will drive into "The Great Unknown" or "The Outside." Anyway, you know what I mean. Its a good glitch for possibly driving in "The Outside" to beat your opponents, and if you come near the finish (even if your in "The Outside") you'll finish the race, and it will stop your car and count your place! The only thing is, when driving in "The Great Unknown" it is VERY slippery, worse than ice, and if you don't have view set to full, you can't see where you're going - unless you rely on the map."

Bug/Glitch : Online Racing

"The other report we got is actually saw/tried out. I found this bug out from a time I was racing people online. One of the racers wanted to show me it. It was on the Alps board, I believe we were going backwards, but it'll work on either or. What you do is race up until you get to the ice pond. (In my case it was on the left) There should be a ledge on the opposite side of the pond from the road. If you hit a certain spot on the ledge you should be warped up onto the ledge, from there if you go backwards *assuming you don't fall off* climb the hill, till all of a sudden it looks like your FLOATING! It's just a neat liddle bug in the game, it doesn't really help you out, it's just very interesting. =) "
